Brighter Futures
The Brighter Futures Program delivers culturally sensitive wellness services in the community. These services help create healthy family and community environments, which support child development.
The program is intended for children from ages 0-6, but it is recognized that children’s needs cannot be separated from those of their families and community. For this reason, Brighter Futures program service areas that directly and indirectly support child development.
Some of the program components to Brighter Futures are:
- children programming;
- youth leadership;
- community mental health;
- child development;
- injury prevention;
- healthy babies; and
- parent education and support.
